TexanCon

TexanCon is an annual Anime and Comic Book convention held on the picturesque campus of Tarleton State University located in Stephenville, TX.  TexanCon is hosted and organized by the Tarleton State University Anime Club with the goal of  raising money for scholarships; while providing a place to have fun, and enjoy anime Texan-style.

Every TexanCon weekend is filled with fun costumes, guests, and more. We are lucky to get to work with our Tarleton family to provide various demonstrations, dances, and tournaments in a family friendly environment.  A variety of artists come to  the con to show off their skills in drawing, plushie making, woodwork, and more. proceeds from Texancon are earmarked for need-based scholarships and to assist student organizations.

TexanCon IV dates March 18-20, 2016

Hours of the Convention:

Friday 4:00 pm - 12:00 am

Saturday 9:00 am - 12:00 am

Sunday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm

Important: 03/16/2016

As the day of the con comes closer, we want to make sure that every guest has the upmost fun at our convention. In order to do so, we would like to place a few guidlines down.

- Please don't forget to drink water regularly, especially does with very large cosplays.

- Respect our rules. We have a no walking on grass rule in many areas of our campus and would like it if everyone including guests abide that rule.

- Please respect the students. Hopefully they will do the same, but if not, please tell a con staff or the police. Either way, do not scare the students or our future students who will be hee during our largest tours.

- Maintain hygiene. Don't forget to wash up because I know cons can be so much fun that you forget to take a shower.

- NO SHAMING OR COSPLAY HATE!

- And most important...LOOK OUT FOR YOURSELF AND OTHERS!

Thank you and I hope you enjoy our TexanCon this year. Any other question may be answered on our FAQ page or ask a con staff.
